Outreach

The Outreach Department supports many local, state, and international charities, including:

· GWIM Food Bank and Toy Sale

· One Great Hour of Sharing

· Neighbors in Need

· Christmas Fund

Outreach also organized members and friends of the Church to join the Walk for Hunger, which benefits the Connecticut Food Bank.

Please contact the Outreach Department by e-mail if you know of any worthy cause in which we may participate.

Outreach will be doing a special food collection in November and December for GWIM our Thanksgiving and Christmas Dinner Bags (Bags with Lists will be available in the Narthex of the church)

A Toy Collection will be held in December for GWIM

The Outreach department is once again organizing members and friends of the Church to join in:

· The Walk for Hunger, which benefits the Connecticut Food Bank, on May 22, 2011.

· The Hartford Pride Event on June 2011
